One of our MESC+ student from Class 17 Prashanth Sivakumar was invited to the World Materials Forum in the Below 25 group.

Please find below his testimony of his experience of participating to this great event :

"It was my distinct pleasure to be invited to the Below 25 team at the World Materials Forum in Nancy by Madame Victoire de Margerie and Monsieur Philippe Varin. The event focused on materials related themes and to resolve our dependency on fossil fuels. Securing a clean energy future for the EU and our world was the central argument between the academics, policy makers and industrial leaders. As a student of MESC+ this dialogue provided me with an insight into the policy affairs and to the reliance of critical raw materials needed for the battery gigafactories we are interested in. It also opened avenues to network with reputed academics and heads of notable startups working towards energy storage solutions, including our home grown Tiamat Energy. MESC gave me an identity to present myself at this distinguished event."
